This is an introduction episode to this podcast, which includes an overview of flash fiction and a short piece of fiction of 100 words, entitled ‘Ladies and Gentlemen, The Magnificent Marco’. Over the coming weeks I’ll be talking to writers and publishers of flash fiction about a range of topics such as how and where they get their inspiration, dealing with rejection, carving out time to write, workshops and competitions, and any advice they’ve received to help sharpen their words. I’ll intersperse these interviews with reading of flash fiction from the authors.
